‘There is no genius, without a spice of Madness’ according to the philosopher Seneca. In 2017, we followed The WA Ballet into a journey of Madness, Illusion. Delusion and Fantasy.

For The Mad Empire, this was a walk through the park by way of storytelling.
The stories of Season 2017 such as Don Quixote, The Great Gatsby and Peter Pan captured the themes of imagination and illusion, while the Season 2017 campaign captured the multi-layered nature of reality and some of the dark tunnels our minds take us through.

Light and dark were explored in Follow Me 2017, in equal measure. Unsettling and beautiful all at once.
